I <3 Eddie Bauer
There's no key for [heart], so I'm using the Omega. Perhaps this is better?
I ð Eddie Bauer
But is it possible for non-mac folks to see that?
At any rate, I do love my EB. I'm a tall woman, those who've seen the latest IK know that I'm a broad broad, too. I don't like to be too fussy-dressy, and it's hard to find large-ish, tallish clothes that don't look too fussy or too lacey or too much like one is trying to pretend that one is 17 with a 32" bust. Even when I WAS 17 I didn't have a 32" bust.
So, I (^) Eddie Bauer. Does anyone have a cute type symbol for heart?
Things I've bought that I also love...
My Scunci
Nutrogena Wrinkle & Blemish Wash & Moisturizer (I bought this in Indianapolis when I lost my other moisturizer, and now I'm totall hooked - I love it!)
Softsoap Cashmere Body Wash (I adore this stuff, I put it in little bottles and take it with me when I travel - but not in my carry on luggage anymore...)
I have NO reason for mentioning these items - no affiliation with ANY of these products - but I love to hear what other folks use on their faces, etc., and I like to share. My neighbor swears by TONE soap, but has a hard time finding it, so whenever I'm shopping and I see it I pick some up for her.
Oh, Yeah - Knitting...
I'm knitting, knitting, knitting like there's no tomorrow. Here's where the Emmy dress is right now - fitting today went BEAUTIFULLY and it looks wonderful! The actress bought a standby dress shaped like this one (she didn't realize!) as a safety in case there's a terrible knitting incident. Or she doesn't like it. So see, it's kind of like my own personal project runway...

<3 seems to be the standard. It's a sideways heart.
Did I read somewhere that the Emmys are on Saturday. Like this Saturday?
yeah <3 is the standard!
I LOVE that pink corset dress thing, write that pattern up women! It's CUTE! I can't wait to see it on them. I bet you could knit a bad ass wedding dress!
as lauren said, <3 is the standard. However, there actually is a key for heart! ? [ampersandheartssemicolon]
the dress is moving along! that yarn looks heavenly. yum!

Hearts for you! I love Eddie Bauer too, but they closed their store at the mall for some reason and I haven't looked through a catalog lately. I need to check them out again.
My latest find is the new Clinique facial wash mild. Totally unscented and gentle, but gets makeup off. You just need a little also, so the bottle lasts a while.
Amy,
I have to worry about the Prime Time Emmy's on 8/27

The "creative" emmy's are this Saturday. No dress for THAT one - yikes!
I like L'Oreal face wash. I love the scents of the B&B Works, especially Moonlight Path.
I would love to know if there's an equivalent online source for clothes for us midgets...the kid's section may be okay for height, but rhinestone "Brat Princess" shirts are really not my style, and the curves...let's just say the junior department doesn't navigate the female raceway very well. Frustratin'.
That dress top looks knockout gorgeous.
I'm now about three inches up the Bias Corset, and after having a bit of trouble with the setup row being off a bit, I'm golden and having fun. Oh, how I love shaping :-)
This has nothing to do with Eddie Bauer, but I'm looking forward to meeting you in Minneapolis next week! Beware--kind of a rowdy group of knitters have signed up for your workshop. But me and my poor abused hands and tendons really hope to learn combination knitting.
I had a 32 inch bust once. I think I was in kindergarten at the time.
I'm with you on the petite clothes, Lee ann.
Annie, that dress is beautiful thus far, and I cannot wait to see it finished. Is it possible there will be a pattern available for this? :-D
I [heart] Softsoap Cashmere body wash, too! It makes the most delectable soft little bubbles, and I cannot get enough! It's my favorite!
Hopefully the pattern will be available in the Spring - or maybe before...?
Try copy-paste an Arial (or some other common font) heart - it exists in Windows Arial and Courier New as well.
I need longer-than-standard jeans, and buy LL Bean jeans because I can get a 32" length (I'm only 5'6") and if I use their credit card, I don't have to pay shipping!
What is peeving me at the moment is that Lands End and LL Bean have both 'improved' their mesh golf shirts. I didn't want them improved, I wanted them to continue to fit my not-so-slim but not-so-wide body the way they have in the past.
I know in word you can get a heart when you hold your alt key and the number 3 down.
I ?heart Eddie bauer especially their sweaters....
I use Arbonne products. Have you ever heard of them? Check out Arbonne.com Great skin care!!
I have a thing for L.L. Bean, but mostly for my husband. I just got an Eddie Bauer catalog and am thrilled to see MOST (not some, most) of the clothes actually come in petite sizing. EB might be my new love....
tussy roll on deo. LOVE the smell.
that is one very pretty dress top, can't wait to see it completed.
Is it my monitor...or has the red dress now become pink? Can't wait to see what you have planned for the skirt......LOVE the top design....hoping it becomes available;)
avon's "keep it clean" multi-vitamin cleanser for me.
can't wait to see the finished emmy dress.
anne marie in philly
Mighty cute looking dress. I use Sense skincare by USANA, Hydraphase moisturizer by Le Roche Posay, and Body Butter Ribbons by Oil of Olay. I am a red head with somewhat dry skin and they all really make my skin soft and moisturized looking. And a little less wrinkly I think.
luscious dress! you could stop right there and it still looks complete and gorgeous. gotta run to the store and get some of that Softsoap Cashmere body wash. on the splurge side, Philosophy Purity. body wash and moisturizer. mmm mmm good.
The Emmy dress looks great. I'm an Olay addict since I decided to become low maintenance and only buy skin care that I could pick up at Target. I hear you on the whole clothing issue. Where the heck are women in their 40's supposed to shop? No one wants to see my tummy at this point and I'm tired of the too tight look. EB is good. Land's End works too.
Ok, that dress is simply stunning.
I just have to say, for the record, you should meet my friend Mr. Magic Eraser, seriously. Best. Product. EVER!
Also, I miss you!!!!
Funny you should mention face wash. I live in the high desert and can't seem to find a product that doesn't turn my face into a sawdust. I've even ordered from Kiehl's of New York. Recently I pick up Noczema Deep Cleansing Cream for $4 and it works! Wish I'd thought of it sooner.
I use olive oil soap made by an olive grove in country Victoria (Australia). It contains only one additive, but is otherwise pure olive oil. I started using it when I noticed my skin was changing and becoming drier, and now I haven't looked back.
thanks for the neutrogena tipÑi have problem skin that is very dry and am searching once again for a new way to deal with it.
Ooh... that's lovely!
Jess mentionned it: [ampersandheartssemicolon] - let's try it ehre and see if your blog settings allow it to work its magic... ♥
