Shamelessly Supportive

I just made a donation to Barack Obama's campaign.
I thought you might want to join me.
The crucial financial reporting deadline is coming up on June 30th.
Donate before the deadline to help build our movement in all 50 states

HOORAH ! You have a forum that I don't have. My husband and I decided that in spite of all the things we could have done that the best thing we could do with our "economic incentive check" was to give it to the democrats ... half to Obama and half to the campaign for democratic senators.
We would like to invite others, who are able, to join us in this effort.
Gosh--I thought this was a knitting blog---silly me! I guess conservatives aren't alowed to read knitting blogs....What was I thinking!
I respect your right to support and urge others to support any candidate you want. I will grudgingly vote for Obama, but am very disappointed that he did absolutely nothing to defeat the FISA bill. He won't get a penny from me because of his empty words and lack of action against giving immunity to those who are spying on us all.
I like your blog and will keep reading it. God, I wish this damn election was over.
I have never commented.
I read your blog all the time.
You seem like a good person and a hard worker, like myself.
I find it extremely hard to understand why anyone would vote for Obama.
Please leave the politics out of it of your blog.
I am not pleased with the Republican candidate but a vote for Obama is a vote for the socialist form of government.
Even knitters vote and a lot of them will vote for Obama. Thanks for the nudge, I'll be making my donation this morning.
And if you had asked me to donate to McCain, well, I would have just skipped the suggestion and continued with reading your very, very fine blog.
Why would Michelle think she couldn't read a knitting blog because of politics? Honestly, when will people grow up and learn to respect that others may have ideas different than theirs???
Sheeshhh
I rarely comment here, but I can't let this go. I have a *really* hard time when blog readers feel they need to dictate what you, the author, writes about. It's your blog. They can read it or not.

What Laine and Anne and Beth and Janice and Roz and Amy and anonymous said. Oy, vey.
P.S.--What's so wrong about a little socialism? :)
