Max's First Snowboard Attemps

We love Craig's List, and the kicky snow board that we got for Max for $20! The playground at SPA has hills the perfect size for learning to navigate on a board.

I love the "darn it" at the end. My son thinks he's less cool if he falls, and that he should be good at it immediately. I'm glad your kids are acclimated to our wonderful Minnesota winters. You have to learn to like outdoor stuff, or you go nuts! Or you can stay in and knit. That works too1

That looks like so much fun - it makes me wish I were a kid again (or at least young enough that I wouldn't worry about broken bones)!

OK, one word. HELMET. Cause he's going to get good fast. I won't let my husband kids or self ride/board without one. Wrist guards aren't a bad idea either. That said-way to go, Max! Looks like the snow loves you!!

Go Max! My kiddo just snowboarded for the first time over winter break. Too bad you don't live closer... they could start a "red-headed 'tween snowboarders with nerdy moms who knit club". Hee. Actually, they probably have a lot in common.
