No Glasses - by a HUGE margin.
You're all correct, and so is my husband, AND the photographer. I think I liked the glasses one because, to my muddled mind, it makes me look about 6 months younger (as if that's a good thing...) AND my nose is slightly less Aunt Wanda-esque (the one who looked fabulous, for those who've taken a class with me)
But for all the reasons cited, non-glasses is best, and that's what I sent to my publisher before I'd even posted those yesterday. Here's my personal favorite
And the scarf? That's one of the designs for Romantic Knits, knit up by Jessie in Illinois - thanks Jessie!

Hey! Be careful with those Aunt Wanda comments! So sayeth an Aunt Wanda, whose fabulousness can't be denied! Love the pic without the glasses too. It shows your whole face and you look great in that pic.

I'm glad you like/sent the no glasses photo. It looks like you were having a great time in the glasses photo, but the non-glasses one is a softer focus and a real smile rather than a grin. Looks wonderful!
beautiful scarf and i like the no specks-pic; considering that i just got my first pair of tri-focals and am trying to STOP tilting my head from last week when i got my first pair of bifocals and was so very unhappy ; hey my code is aaxed, please don't ax me...LOL

I'm glad you chose the no glasses photo. It shows more of your beautiful eyes. Although you have a wonderful, wacky sense of humor, you are equally insightful and sensitive and that kindness comes through best on the no glasses photo. Carol (from your cable-mania class at Yarnover)
Indeed, the photo does show more of your eyes, but you look so happy and comfortable in the glasses photo. The scarf is gorgeous, so I'm anxiously awaiting "Romantic Knits".
The glasses-pic is a more honest smile. Genuine, warm -- TWO rows of teeth. But you look lovely in both, so it's moot.
Here's a compromise. No glasses for the book jacket. (You want them to BUY that book!) Evil twin pic with glasses for publicity for classes/appearances. (People enjoy taking classes from someone who looks to be a bunch of fun. The glasses photo speaks to that..)
Both of them are great. The non-glasses looks sophisticated. While the one with glasses makes you look like you are giggling and up to something.
The black and white version is cool too. You should use it somewhere.
Any more news about a possible KAL with the Mitered Jacket?? Just wondering cause I had so much fun with the one for the corset.

I loved the one with the glasses. That may be because I'm married to a glasses-wearing guy, and I've always been fond of them...but it's also because I think your glasses are awesome. They look super on you. Good taste in glasses, Annie!
