Sick Day
I've heard from Becka over there that they still have a few openings, so if you're in the twin cities and you'd like to take a toe up sock class with me this evening starting around 6:00, contact the center and I'm sure you can still sign up!
Until then, enjoy!

Update
The class was great - the students were fun but I just didn't feel as clear as I'd like to have been. They seemed to enjoy the class - I did, too - but I just wish I could have felt more present. I think it was the rain. Most of us were a bit late, and all of us had that "I've just been through evil rain-soaked traffic" look about us...
I did, however, stop on the way home and pick up a chocolate Black Cat for Hannah's morning birthday surprise - I try to give her something small and special when she wakes up on her big day.
I also got petit fours for her and Max to have with their breakfasts. Gotta love Whole Foods.

Annie,
You are so funny. You are "resting", not having a sick day. It is necessary to have these days to reenergize and have just a little time. It is good and it is great that you are doing this. I sometimes feel this way, but what if you didn't have time to think and just enjoy your family. There is always, always something to do and it always waits for us.
I still think that you are absolutely amazing. I would have never taught 2 classes in one day, zoomed to an airport, caught another flight and flown all night and then caught a cab home. My Lord!!! You really deserve some kudos for all that you do.
TCD
I'm taking a vacation day, AND I'm retired. Huh? I do a lot of elder mom care, and I'm pooped today. So I thought that I would just do what I feel like doing. So I painted 4 skeins of yarn, and now I'm going to read a book.
Taking days off, even when you don't go to work any more, is invigorating.
Hope you enjoy your day!
After all the running around this past month, Annie, it's no wonder you're worn out and feeling ick. Rest, woman! You're home and Gerry's feeling better and the kids are there. Rest! Get some food delivered, stay in your fluffy slippers, sip a G&T, put your feet up and sigh. You're home. You can rest. Life will wait a couple of days. :)
I'm so very happy things are going better.
love the poster!
Those are some seriously sexy legs there, Annie! :)
Enjoy your rest - you deserve more than a day of it, that's for sure.
*virtual hug*
hey, why aren't you wearing that completement putain d'absurd scarf you wear in every photo you take of yourself
DRAT! This is what I get for checking blogs late in the day. I could have been at your class. I hadn't spotted it on the calendar - was it a recent add, or am I blind? I'll watch more carefully in the future!
Drat ditto. I missed it as well. Thought I'd been good about watching for TC classes...so much for that thought!!
Your schedule sounds so hectic, Annie! Hope you enjoy your break.
I loved the class! I was just thinking this morning that I want to do 3 more classes so I can have 4 socks. As soon as I got home, I pulled out my little green bootie and continued working the heel. Not quite done, but it's started!
Annie,
Have a great day! I love the poster, it is so you!
XOXO

Ditto what Leslie said!
I took Monday as sick day and I am so glad I did. I am so much more rested and ready for work. I hope the same for you!
Hi Annie:
Glad to see your 'wish' underneath 'leave your comment'....I think it's the best solution to your infestation of pests :) Michele the blogless.
