Yes, truly it is!
Snow! Oh, you have snow there! *sigh* I'm so jealous. We haven't had anything but sleet and maybe a snifter of snow so far, and I'm getting cranky. It's time for snow!
Banff just moved up on my vacation list. And it's not just the ketchup flavored chips doing the persuading.
Herr's brand also makes ketchup flavored potato chips.. its my nephews favorite flavor.
he, (and my sister/family) live in Japan, and we always start looking for the ketchup chips a few weeks ahead of time.. (since not every store carries them, and even if they do, they are not always in stock)
I never got to meet you when you lived in NJ--i hope if you come back east, you'll schedule something in NYC or on LI..
i suspect i don't need a class.. but i'd enjoy seeing you teach!

Wow - I love the Rockies - altho I've never been to the Canadian part - I hope to some day. When my younger daughter was in high school we took her on a train trip to Glacier National Park. Our train was (as usual with Amtrak) 3 or 4 hours late getting in to Glacier & so it was dark. We walked from the train station about a block (maybe less) across an open area to our hotel & went to bed. The next morning on our way to breakfast, as we walked through a breezeway with a wall of windows looking out on a view very similar to your photos, my daughter actually gasped & said, "Is that real? It is so gorgeous it looks like something from Disney!" The mountains do have an almost unreal quality to their beauty.
I need to make a friend in Canada so they can send me some of those chips. My son dips his chips in ketchup. Having ketchup flavored chips would save me from the 'eewwww' factor every time he dips!
Banf/Jasper/Lake Louise -- they are just stunningly beautiful, summer or winter
We had a few flakes of snow this afternoon - I know soon enough I'll be crabbing about it; but it sure would be nice to have some now....
(one yarn selection? IMPOSSIBLE!)
I've taken the train through the Canadian Rockies and stopped in Banff & Jasper. A wonderful trip to take. Breathtaking.
I'll send you ketchup chips, Karen. Although why you'd want them I'll never know....
