Dec 2 - 5 The Heartland
Knit Retreat at Lake
Lawn Resort in
Delavan Lake, WI will be a great opportunity for knitters to
gather in a beautiful Midwestern setting; relax and
recharge before heading into the usually busy
Christmas and holiday season. The
fun begins Friday afternoon around 2 pm when
you begin to arrive and settle in. After a
wonderful Fiesta Italiana Buffet dinner we'll
gather together and share our knitting successes
while getting to know each other. On
Saturday morning we jumpstart our day with a great
Country Breakfast and a session with Annie
Modesitt. After a soup and build you own
salad buffet lunch, the Fiber Market will open.
Later we will gather again for a Bohus knitting
discussion with Jan Becker and quiet knitting
time. After our Deluxe Buffet dinner we can
try our hand at learning to spin with a drop
spindle with Toni Neal. After
rising for another hearty Sunday breakfast, Annie
will again lead a morning seminar which will be
followed by knitting time and a delicious Gourmet
Pizza-Salad Bar luncheon. Afterwards
you may choose to hit the road or stay and linger
awhile longer; perhaps pay the resort spa a visit
to relax and get energized for the hectic days
ahead.
